Well, it's early August again, and you all know what that means! It's time for the most epic celebration on the planet: deviantART's birthday! This year is no exception, and what's a dA birthday without an image hunt?
The rules are pretty simple. Below, there are two lists: One containing a small fragment of a deviation, and one of a list of deviants in a number of various different galleries across dA. What you need to do is figure out what deviation the fragments belong to, and by extension, what deviant.
For example, is part of
, so the answer would be TorsadesPourFoi.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it is to form a list of who the images belong to, in the order that the images appear in this article. Your deadline? Midnight Pacific Time, August 7th 2012. When you think you have your answers, send them, via note, to Astralseed before the time mentioned above.

One final thing to note about the list of users is, there are some names in there that you won't use... Evil, yes, but we don't want to make it too easy for you!
Winners will be the first three to note Astralseed with lists that are 100% correct.
Now, you ask, why should I exert all of this effort? Because we have some absolutely fantastic prizes for you all, that's why. But what are they? Well, here they are:
1st: 1 year subscription + print ($30 maximum value)
2nd: 3 month subscription & devWear t-shirt
3rd: 3 month subscription + dA Lanyard
So... get out there and get hunting! Good luck, and stay deviant.

Still Alive
Hi. It's been a while, no? A lot has happened since we last saw each other, it seems, and not all of it good. Picked up the camera today for the first time in a long time. Might post some of the shots I took later. It felt nice to shoot again. Might try to make it a lunch break habit. Still making maps professionally. Maybe one of these days I'll actually make something purely for fun. It's actually kind of fun. How are you?
Life Goes On
Today, at around 6PM EST, I stood down from my chat and forums volunteer position, after serving a six year term. After a couple of months' reflection, I realized I didn't have the time, or the energy that DeviantArt deserves. But, those six years are so full of amazing memories. Nights spent in #damn laughing over stupid jokes. Flying off on a whim to Toronto (I might have been drunk when I bought the plane tickets) to go crash @moonbeam13's couch with other CVs, for a hell of an amazing Halloween (and my nose still burns remembering accidentally snorting Mark's vodka). As an MN@, I even had the chance to meet the folks from HQ on their world tour, as they made their way through that same city. DeviantArt has always been a part of my life, and I don't anticipate this changing. I'll still be around.

Nil Recurring...
Some of you may have noticed I haven't been on dAmn at all over the past week or so. If you haven't noticed, feel free to continue ignoring me. For some weird reason Flash no longer works with dAmn, and for some reason dAmn doesn't see my java plugin, so I don't have a way to connect to dAmn. Tried to update my version of Flash, which broke. Tried to reinstall Chrome (dAmn refuses to place nice with Firefox for me anymore), and I find out Chrome stopped supporting OSX 10.5.8, which is what I run. So, I decided to buy a new computer. It's something I was considering doing and was going to do at some point soon anyway, so I gu

Nil Recurring...
One moment in time, one movement, one last push, one dot on the cosmic timeline, amongst an infinite amount of dots stretching out before it and after it, but somehow, this one is more important than the rest. This moment is that just before some athlete crosses the finish line, the time runs its course, the final touch at the wall. Everything they've done has led to this point. But, in another week or two, they'll run another race, play another game, swim another meet. So, maybe, this point isn't so important. Maybe the sport isn't as important. In actuality, sport itself is just not important.
But, it is. It teaches us a
